Each print begins as an original gouache painting, then carefully scanned and digitally reproduced on museum quality, acid free paper with archival ink. Golden Hour Prints is committed to working with local businesses that exclusively use environmentally friendly processes when reproducing work. All prints are produced in Austin, Texas; and individually hand packaged in Heather’s studio.
Soft, velvet colors and ambient atmosphere are major elements in every piece. Capturing that certain time of day; like the subtle glowing light right before sunset, during the “Golden
Hour.”
ABOUT
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Heather Sundquist Hall, the artist behind Golden Hour Prints draws inspiration from narratives, nostalgia and quiet moments. It serves as her way of holding onto memories like souvenirs from road trips of yesteryear. Heather is a formally trained fine artist and moonlights as a freelance illustrator. She holds an AAS in General Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, as well as, a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia.
